14.  PANKRAZ⁵ BAILER (JOSEPH⁴, BASIL³, CHRISTIAN², JOHANN¹) was born May 12, 1890 in Steinhilben, Germany, and died March 08, 1960 in Steinhilben, Germany.  He married ROSINA GEISLEHART July 27, 1920 in Steinhelben, Germany.  She was born May 09, 1889 in Steinhilben, Germany, and died October 15, 1970 in Steinhilben, Germany.

Eugen Bailer, son of Pankraz remembers that his father was a bricklayer and a farmer. From 1914-1918 he took part in WW I. Upon his return, he abandoned the old farmhouse which belonged to his father and  in 1920 built a new house and barn and stable next to it. With several children, Pankraz and Rosina Bailer did not have it easy. Pankraz worked especially hard as both a bricklayer and as a farmer. The farm had four cows along with 4-5 smaller cattle and 2-4 pigs. As soon as Eugen and his siblings were old enough they had to help with the farm chores.
